Los Al Los Al Giffin alum Rachel Fattal (LAHS ’11) has again been named to the final roster of the US Women’s National water polo team — this time for the upcoming 2017 FINA World Championships which begin this Sunday in Budapest, Hungary.
Fattal, of Seal Beach, is one of seven athletes on Head Coach Adam Krikorian’s roster who were part of the gold-medal winning team at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

As preparation for the tournament the US ladies captured the gold at last month’s FINA World league Super Final in Shanghai, China, defeating Canada 12–6 in the championshi[p game..
The title marked the fourth straight and 11th overall for the Americans in the tournament’s 14-year history.
Fattal completed her outstanding college career this past Spring — ending as UCLA’s all-time leader in steals and third all-time in scoring.
