OTHER HIGH SCHOOLS ALUMNI GROUPS

  • Anaheim High School
    • Prior to the construction of Western High School in 1957, Los Alamitos teens attended Anaheim High School
  • Western HS
    • From Fall 1958 thru June 1970, most Los Al and Rossmoor students attended High School at Western High in Anaheim.   By the mid 1960s, with the explosive growth of Rossmoor and then surrounding Los Alamitos, Western had the largest graduating class, and parents began clamoring for a high school closer to Los Al.  Some famous local grads included baseball pitcher Andy Messersmith and Nobel-winning scientist Randy Scheckman (’68).
  • Huntington Beach High School
    • Prior to the merger of the Seal Beach School District with the Los Alamitos Unified School District in 1980, Seal Beach students who lived south of the 405 freeway attended Huntington Beach High School.
