Clark to head Los Al-Rossmoor Friends of Library Board

Long-time volunteer Del Clark, has been selected as President of the new Friends of the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library 2019-20 Board of Directors which was recently installed in a ceremony at the Library.

Joining  Clark on the Executive Board are Sandy Tessier (1st VP, Program ), Sharon Westafer (2nd VP, Members), Frieda Wray (3rd VP, Book Sales), Mary Holzgang (4th VP, Indoor Sales),  Kathryn St. John (Secretary), Ann Poissot (Treasurer ) and Becky Allie (Asst. Treasurer).

Serving as Directors at Large are Elise Storey, Deb Lelchuk, Patricia Piar, Sandy Lamoureux, Michael Coover, Diane Cherniss, Marguerite Lyon, Karin Covey, and Student co- Directors Katie Kubiatko and Kathryn Ball

Friends of the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library is a vibrant community of supporters for our library system and our community which includes Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach and surrounding areas.

In other FOLAR news, the library’s Summer Reading Challenge– It’s Showtime At Your Library! —  kicked off Monday, June 17 and will extend through July 28, 2019.

All branches of the OC Public Libraries (OCPL) invites readers of all ages to participate in the 2019 Challenge.  Earn points for reading and completing fun activities and collect badges along the way. All ages can participate.
