Former Griffin standout Justine Wong-Orantes made the most of her first chance to start at the FIVB World Cup Volleyball Championships and helped the United States women’s national volleyball team remained undefeated in the FIVB World Cup after defeating Argentina 25-21, 25-18, 18-25, 25-11 on Monday in Hamamatsu, Japan.
Wong-Orantes was credited with a 56 positive reception percent on 18 chances, and 11 digs as Team USA improved to 3-0 in the 12-team, round-robin World Cup.
