Dr. Gregg Stone came to Los Al in the late 1990s and was there over 20 years before retiring at the end of the 2018-19 school year. He was the Assistant Principal for curriculum most of the years, serving under six principals before taking over the head spot himself. Through all those years he was a regular fixture at sports and performance arts events. especially the basketball and volleyball games, a quiet presence at the west doors of the gym. The school district gathered students and longtime faculty comrades — present and former — to make a very nice Griffin good-bye video. Enjoy your retirement, Dr. Stone.
