Los Alamitos softball beats Orange Lutheran but falls in finals of Dave Kops TOC
There will be a new No. 1 softball team in Orange County next week. Second-ranked Los Alamitos edged top-ranked Orange Lutheran 3-2 in the semifinals of the Dave Kops Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz. on Saturday. The Griffins (7-2) later lost to nationally top-ranked Norco 7-0 in a mercy-rule shortened championship game at Mohave High.
