After fifty years, Los Al is getting a bigger, deeper, brand new swimming pool. The concrete (gunnite) was poured overnight last Friday and Saturday and was captured on a Facebook video .
The original Los Alamitos pool was built in 1969 and paid for by a bond initiated and passed by residents of Los Alamitos, Rossmoor and College Park East. The district (Anaheim Union High School District) contributed no money to the original pool construction.
