Off the Hook, the new extension/step-sister/offshoot of the Original Fish Cmpany got a nice write-up in the OC Register.
The eatery, located next door to the Original Fish Company, is the creation of Vanessa Travis and her younger brother Zac Rothman, children of Fish Company owner Wendy Rothman. The new gastropub, which replaced the Blake’s Place barbecue joint, has a definite connection to its parent restaurant — with quality oysters, and excellent sushi-quality yellowtail and mussels. But the short-rib tacos were the favorite of OC Register reviewer, Brad Johnson
