Long-time Seal Beach resident has been a very familiar figure in the local and national aquatics world. In 1970, Foster led his youth water polo team to a state championship and went on to compete at Long Beach State in the same sport. He would serve a number of high-profile positions in the aquatic sporting world, including the President of the US Water Polo for over a decade.
He also played an instrumental role in getting the US National team to train at the Los Alamitos Joint Force Base.
Now, as a classic example of the adage “no good deed goes unpunished” he is awaiting a ruling of the State Supreme Court to clear his name and legal reputation.
The whole story is in the Grunion Gazette.
