Rossmoor Woman’s Club Gears Up For Holiday Bazaar Near Seal Beach

Those looking for a chance to get some holiday shopping done in Seal Beach without making the trek to Main Street, the Rossmoor Woman’s Club will be hosting its first annual holiday bazaar fundraiser Dec. 5, and participating residents will have the chance to score a photo with Santa, a professionally-decorated small Christmas tree and other seasonal gifts and goodies.

The Bazaar, which replaces the group’s annual Holiday Home Tour (again canceled due to Coivid concerns) will be held in the parking lot behind Farmers and Merchants Bank in Rossmoor Center, 12535 Seal Beach Blvd. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year’s outdoor event will include a craft and plant booth, raffle baskets and a variety of local vendors offering gift and seasonal items for sale. A silent auction features five professionally decorated 3-foot-tall artificial Christmas trees donated by Green Street Interiors, Aegean Design Studio, Tarlton Designs, Jennifer Lathrop of Pampered Chef and floral designer Darrell Poper (who long-time residents will recall from his Standing Ovation Florists shop before he retired a few years back).
All net proceeds from the event go to fund college scholarships for Los Alamitos High School students, and to support local charities such as We Care, The Youth Center, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Precious Life Shelter, St. Isidore Community Center, Fix Long Beach and more.

Score a photo with Santa, a professionally-decorated small Christmas tree, some seasonal gifts, a raffle basket full of gift cards or other goodies at the Rossmoor Woman’s Club Holiday Bazaar fundraiser.

If you can’t attend the bazaar but would like to support the club’s community service, please consider donating to the group’s virtual Holiday Home Tour from the Heart. Checks, made payable to RWC, may be sent to Rossmoor Woman’s Club, P.O. Box 357, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.

The club, founded in 1958, is a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible. While centered in Rossmoor, the club welcomes members from around coastal Orange County, Long Beach and other nearby areas to participate in a variety of social and charitable activities.
