The No. 2 seeded Los Al Girls Soccer team had their CIF-Southern section championship dreams thwarted for the second year in a row by JSerra, as the Griffins fell 2-0 in a quarterfinal match.
The Griffins lost to JSerra in the CIF-SS and SoCal Regional finals last year but had higher hopes for this year. , controlled most of the action, but couldn’t finish their chances and couldn’t get anything past Campbell when they did get shots off.
Los Al finished the season with a 22-4-4 record.
