The Los Alamitos Griffins softball team remained undefeated and used homers by Sophia Nugent and Jamie Sellers to defeat Crescenta Valley 6-2 and capture the prestigious Dave Kops Tournament of Champions in Bullhead City, Ariz. on Saturday night.
The top-ranked Griffins improved their record to 10-0 and finished the tournament, which features top-ranked teams from around the nation, with a 5-0 record. The OC Register has the story.
