Just three weeks after leading Los Alamitos to the CIF-SS Division 2 Girls Volleyball championship, Abby Karich, was named the CIF Division 2 Player of the Year for the 2018 season. The awartds were announced Tuesday by the LA84 Foundation.
Karich, a junior outside hitter, was joined on the ALL-CIF team by two teammates, sophomore outside hitter Starr Williams and junior libero Jacinda Ramirez.
Their coach Dave Huber, earned the Div 2 Coach of the Year honors.
