The OC Weekly did a nice little feature on our own local Pittsburgh Chicken and Subs, the always busy hole-in-the wall mom and pop eatery at 3671 Katella Ave. — next to the Pasty Kitchen just east of St. Isidore’s.
Pittsburgh has had multiple owners over its nearly 25 years in business. But despite the multiple changes, the restaurant has remained a Los Alamitos favorite— keeping the famous recipe intact with made-to-order broasted chicken.
Their website is as sparse as their decor but it assures us “we use organic farm raised chickens for the food to keep customers happy. Hope you guys like the chicken from the Pittsburgh Chicken and Subs.”
