Former Los Al cornerback Darien Cornay has committed to play football next year for the Arizona State University Sun Devils after a solid year at Cerritos College. The Los Al connection earned him favorable comparisons to former Griffin cornerbacks Antoine Cason and Orlando Scandrick, both of whom reached the pros.
Last year at Cerritos Cornay had 31 tackles and an interception in his freshman year at Cerritos, earning all Conference honors. He was a two-time All-Sunset League selection at Los Al.
