Edison gave it a good shot at trying to stop Los Alamitos from clinching a share of the Sunset League title, but in the end, the Chargers couldn’t stop Oscar Brown.
The junior running back rushed for 135 tough yards on 31 carries to help the Griffins (8-1-1, 4-0-1) subdue their long-time rivals, 17-10, at Cerritos College. The win gives Los Al a share of the league title with Corona del Mar.
