Los Al will take a 6-3-2 record into its Sunset League season next week which begins with two road matches. On Monday they play Marina, then after a break for finals, they play Fountain Valley on Friday.
On the JV side, the Los Al played to a pair of draws in the third and fourth rounds of the Huntington Beach tournament. In the morning match the JV squad rallied from a 2-0 deficit to finish in a 2-2 tie. Thingts didn;t look good early for Los Al which quickly found itself down 2-0, but
Kai Iwasaki got them back with a header goal in the 15th minute. Rocco Fallabella tied it up midway thru the second half after a wild skirmish in front of the Servite net.
The JVs then played to a 0-0 tie with Millikan in the afternoon match. The JVs finished the HB tounament with one win and three ties.
GIRLS BB: Los Al 64, Los Osos 44
The Los Al Girls improved their non-league record to 9-3 with a convincing win over Los Osos in Saturday’s final game of the Orangewood Academy Spartan Classic.
