GIRLS SOCCER:  Los Al 2, Trabuco Hills 0

The Los Al Girls downed Trabuco Hills 2-0 to win their pool at the 2018 Aliso Cup for Girls.

The win advances them to a quarter-final match against Hart of Santa Clarita at 11am at the Laguna Niguel Skate Park.

The Griffins got on the board early as Colby Barnett scored in the 4th minute.  Tabitha LaParl put the game away with a late goal with five minutes remaining.

The Griffin JV squad, which defeated Northwood 3-0 on Tuesday, also has a chance of making the Aliso championship brackets if they can pull out a win over the Hart JV squad today.  A Griffin win would advance them to a quarter-final match against perennial power Aliso Niguel or Cypress, who are also playing this afternoon.
