The Los Al Girls soccer team had their opportunities but came up short, falling in overtime to No. 2 seed Temecula Valley in a CIF Division I soccer playoff match Wednesday night. The OC Register has a complete story.
The loss ended a five-game win streak for the Griffins who had won 15 of their last 16 in a season. A positive note is that by racing the semi-finals the Griffins qualify for the State SoCal tournament. The bracket will be released on the state CIF site on Sunday.
