Wednesday afternoon’s Picture Day session may have been one of their toughest practices of the young season — but the Los Alamitos HS Girls Tennis Squad managed to fend off the hot sun bouncing off the concrete while maintaining open eyes and big smiles [at least for our unofficial cell phone photos that we show here].
The Griffin team, led by third-year coach Maria Kibtya, officially opens its season next Tuesday, August 27, with a match at West Torrance.
