The Los Alamitos School announced that District Mrs. Angie Haas, a kindergarten teacher at Hopkinson Elementary, has been selected as Los Alamitos Unified School District 2022 Teacher of the Year!
Per the district social media site, “Angie has a contagious love of learning that she shares each and every day with her students and colleagues. She goes out of her way to aid students with challenges both academically and socially and is truly passionate, caring, and student-centered. During the pandemic shut down, she hosted virtual read alouds, dropped off gifts for students, and made personal phone calls motivating students to stay on top of their learning.”
