Bringing a Seal Beach vibe to community
A Seal Beach family was looking to bring a little community spirit to Seal Beach, so they commissioned an area artist to create a mural on the side and back of their home. The house at 13th Street and Seal Way, was in the process of getting a large part of the mural done this week.

Author brings her story to Seal Beach in upcoming new book
An upcoming sequel to a novel will use Seal Beach for some of the story’s setting. Northern California author Sharon Armstrong has become a frequent visitor to Seal Beach, as she has an adult daughter who now lives in town.

The Los Alamitos High School Boys Volleyball team won the Redondo Union Volleyball Tournament this past weekend. The team went 3-0 in Pool Play on Friday. On Saturday, they won three more games against Carlsbad, Redondo and Servite, to qualify for the championship game against Huntington Beach High School.
