The OC Register made it almost official, announcing the opening of Los Alamitos’ newest eater.
They can’t call it “on 39” because it’s on Los Alamitos Boulevard, so Mama’s partners Pete Truxaw and Robert Corrigan have named their new restaurant Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails.
The restaurant will continue in the Mama’s on 39 tradition of serving breakfast, lunch and dinner any time of day and will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, June 27.
It may not be on 39 (Beach Blvd.) but they could go back about seven decades (before the 605 freeway) when Los Alamitos Blvd used to be State Highway 35. Anyway, the complete article is here.
