Roundup: ‘Hungry’ Edison softball knocks off No. 1 Los Alamitos as Surf League stays wild
Edison’s softball team and pitcher Jenna Bloom showed Tuesday just how good they can be. The Arkansas-bound senior fired a three-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts and Hailie Benko and Jaelyn Operana belted two-run home runs as the host No. 8 Chargers beat Orange County No. 1-ranked Los Alamitos 6-0 in the topsy-turvy Surf League.
