Resurgent Sarah Ladd leads Los Alamitos softball past Huntington Beach
Los Alamitos pitcher Sarah Ladd is healthy, and so are the Griffins in Orange County’s toughest softball league. The Michigan State-bound left-handed ace allowed one run and struck out six as host No. 4 Los Alamitos defeated No. 3 Huntington Beach 9-1 on Friday for its second consecutive victory against a higher-ranked team in the Surf League.
