Former Los Al volleyball star Justine Wong-Orantes earned the libero spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America First Team which was recently announced.
For Wong-Orantes (Los Al HS ’13) it was her second consecutive AVCA All-America honor and her first selection to the first team. The senior was the only libero to be named to an All-America team. She has earned two Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year awards in addition to being an All-Big Ten selection this season. Wong-Orantes has a career total 1,879 digs and is averaging 4.24 digs per set in 2016.
