The Los Al School District has named Wendy Wood, a teacher for 27 years at Lee Elementary, as the new assistant principal at McGaugh Elementary.
The District twitter feed noted that Wood is deeply rooted in the Los Al community, and has held many district leadership positions. She is “an extraordinary educator, passionate about teaching and learning. Congrats!”
In recent years Wood has taught second grade and has taken on special assignments as an administrative designee.
