College Park East shines for Christmas
The College Park East Neighborhood Association this week announced the winners of the Annual Holiday Lights Contest. “It was a tough choice,” wrote Patty Campbell in a recent email.
“Our Board members presented the awards this afternoon—a yard sign proclaiming their enhanced neighborhood status plus a $50 gift card,” wrote Campbell.

Beach cleanup after recent storm

Nonprofit rescue Helen Sanders CatPAWS’ Traveling Feline Comfort and Therapy Show has returned to delight residents of assisted-living homes with playful kittens.

‘We love Lucy’ – A community unites
At 10-years-old, Lucille “Lucy” Polanco had already found her way in the world.
Lucy knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. And with a heart larger than her ambition, Lucy actively embraced every day of her life. Unfortunately a very rare form of brain cancer ended there dreams way too early.
