Sixth annual Band on the Sand party set for Wednesday, July 3, 2019
Fireworks, fun, food trucks and family festivities will again be on hand as the Band on the Sand returns for the sixth year taking place on Wednesday, July 3, from 4 p.m. to dusk. Over 5,000 participants will enjoy a beautiful firework display. Band on the Sand will be held at the beach lot at First Street and Ocean Avenue in Seal Beach. City Council approves budget with $1.45 million surplus
The Seal Beach City Council on Monday, June 24, unanimously approved a 2019-20 city budget with a projected surplus of $1,456,200. The decision came after council members discussed further adjustments to the budget during the public hearing. Revenues are projected to be $35,726,400. Leisure World needs to simplify its governance –
When new shareholders buy property in Leisure World, they make their decision on a specific apartment, it’s location, and it’s price, NOT what mutual it is in. Only after moving in do they learn about the differences in the mutuals. Some shareholders are fortunate to be able to move to another mutual if they don’t like policies of the one they are in.
