Just one week after the OC Register did an article on Paul Dunlap’s renovation of the “historic” Bay Theater, the Bay got more ink from the online Long Beach Post.
As a side note, we’re happy to report that our incessant, perhaps annoying, campaign to get the Bay’s history right is finally paying dividends as both articles correctly state the theater’s origins as in 1945 (as noted with immaculate citations and evidence in our humble literary epic, Seal Beach: A Brief History), instead of the incorrect, but frequently cited year of 1947.
