Seal Beach Police prepare for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick's Day celebrations on Main Street in Seal Beach got a little rowdy in the mid 1970s. Fortunately, things haven't been quite so active in recent years.

The coronavirus will probably drastically impact St. Patrick’s Day gatherings over the next few days, but police in Seal Beach have detailed their plans for the often quite rowdy holiday celebrations.   These include increased deployment of uniformed Officers on foot patrol, and free ride programs via the Seal Beach Lions Club, and use of a safe rides app.  The OC Breeze has the story
