Seal Beach says an oil drilling company operating on a Long Beach oil island owes it millions of dollars in back taxes and it’s going to court to get them.
Seal Beach says the oil company, California Resources Corp., has pipelines that have been extracting oil from Seal Beach since 2005. The city didn’t learn of this until 2018, and now they have filed a lawsuit seeking over $9 million
