Three seniors from the Los Alamitos softball team have been named to the roster for the green team at the 21st Orange County Softball Coaches All-Star Classic which will be played May 21 in Irvine.
The seniors are outfielder Samantha Denehy who is committed to UC Santa Barbara, senior pitcher Sarah Ladd who is headed to Michigan St.. and outfielder Makenzie Kimura, who has signed with Warner Pacific. Kimura, unfortunately will miss the game with an injury.
Coaching the green side will be Los Al coach Rob Weil. The honorary coach of the orange team will be late Pacifica coach Mark Campbell, who fell ill and passed away prior to the school season.
