The Sun has published an article by former Los Al HS history teacher
Michael Pazeian and Sun editor David N. Young about the Saturn booster missile program at the North American (now Boeing) plant. The plant and its many engineers not only played a major role in getting American astronauts to the moon in the 1960s, but it also played a big role in attracting a new, younger well-educated population to the city.
