THE LOG: The lowdown on Huntington Harbor

Since it was formally dredged in 1963, Huntington Harbor — part of which lies in Seal Beach — has received far less coverage than its neighbors Alamitos Bay and Newport Beach. Another thing it didn’t have was a harbor commission. Now that may be rectified as a couple measures have been introduced at the state and city level to give the harbor its own commission.
